Drowning Fish Studio Client Agreement
- Welcome to Drowning Fish Studios! We are passionate about providing an outstanding recording experience and a finished product you will be proud of. To protect your investment and ours, please read the terms and conditions below. Your payment binds you to these terms.
- A minimum of two hours is required to schedule an hourly recording session.
- Payment is due prior to the scheduling of the session. All blocks of time must be paid in full in advance unless a prior agreement has been made.
- You must give 24 hours notice of any cancellations or time changes or deposit is forfeited.
- If client is 30 mins late for a session, a full hour of time will be charged.
- If client is more than an hour late, the session will be cancelled and deposit will be forfeited.
- More than 2 consecutive cancellations without 24 hours notice will result in cancellation of this agreement.
- No food is allowed in the control room. Drinks are permitted in a container with a spillproof lid.
- There is no smoking allowed in the building, Smoking is permitted on the black staircase. Please leave the deadlock out to ensure reentry.
- Do not touch or operate the equipment without permission. There is a nonnegotiable “you break it, you buy it” policy. Instruments are available for use during your session, however, Drowning Fish retains the right to refuse or revoke permission to use equipment at any time. To use drum sets, drum heads must be replaced at our discretion. We reserve the right to require drummers to replace drum heads prior to the start of a session.
- Please clean up and remove trash at the end of each session. All clients are responsible for backup of session files. Please bring a Mac compatible hard drive (with at least 50GB available space) to take your files with you.
- No small children are allowed in the studio during sessions. Unless approved prior to session.
