The audio engineers are a pleasure to work with and welcome freelance engineers to work on independent projects or host clients. Drowning Fish features two fully-equipped studios and a live rehearsal room. Studio A boasts a large format recording console, musical instruments, and a luxurious selection of outboard gear for full-service band recording. Studio B is a perfect space for solo/vocal recording, music production, mixing, and mastering projects. The overall environment is comfortable and acoustically treated well.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience to record my first full length album. Jason met with me to give a tour of the studio and just talk music for a while, and it was clear that we were both on the same page as far as what we wanted from the album and our priority to do whatever it takes to get the best possible results. I booked a couple days there to record and mix (well within a reasonable price range), and we got to work ASAP. The "live room" where he had me record sounded great, and I was lucky to play a beautiful Gibson acoustic that Jason had in studio. I was able to fully trust Jason's technical instincts and just focus on recording the best version of each song that I could. The mixing process was just as smooth, and I enjoyed the relaxed environment as we ordered pizza, shared ideas and just hung out while working to get the most out of each song. I owe so much of how this album turned out, and how I feel about my time working on it, to Jason and this studio. I can't wait to have the chance to work there again soon. Thank you!

Professional, experts in what they do, top notch equipment. My band Romans Road which is a Christian rock ministry had the pleasure of recording in the studio. We recorded a few singles and the quality of the mixes were excellent. If you want radio quality recordings with engineers that give the best they have and expect the best from you then this is the place I would recommend. Excellent recording experience. Definitely will return.
